Melt and Pour Soap Base

Melt and Pour Soap Base is the easiest form of soap crafting. The possibilities are endless. These soap bases make it fool proof to make your own healthy, natural soap.

Kids enjoy this project as well, and the clean up is simple and quick.

These bases can be melted in the microwave,add  fragrance and color, and then pour into a mold. It takes about an hour to cool and cure, and then your new soap creation is ready to pop out of the mold and use!

You can buy soap molds, or use common items you find in your home such as a yogurt container or a sardine can. I use a 2 lb wooden mold and then cut the bars after unmoulded.
